Challenge: translate new Guylian packaging to TR furniture

In 2023 Guylian, the premium Belgian chocolates, received a completely new packaging design. Now, it’s time to implement this new look in the duty free shopping experience at airports. From box of chocolates to Travel Retail furniture around the world. Who you gonna call? DCVF of course!

Insight: starting right at home

No better place to start than Guylian’s own backyard: Brussels Zaventem Airport. Belgium has been the home of the delicious products for more than 65 years. This had to be the place to introduce the updated furniture for the very first time. Our designers translated the look and feel of the new packaging to permanent and non permanent displays. With a textured look, delicate colours and premium finishes we matched the beauty of the product.

Act-factor: and now the rest of the world

That was just the start though. We’re already well on our way to roll out the new design to a lot of airports around the world in 2024 and beyond. With this new furniture we’re making optimal use of a relatively small space to attract travellers, speak to their impulses and indulge them in the luxury of Belgian chocolate.
